Asia cup 2022 Prize Money: Sri Lanka, which won the Asia Cup title in Dubai and Pakistan’s team which lost the title match, was rained down on money. Sri Lanka got $150,000. 

Asia cup 2022 Prize Money: The 15th season of the Asia Cup held in the UAE concluded on the night of Sunday 11 September.The final match was played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, in which Sri Lanka’s team won.After winning this title, how much prize money did the Sri Lankan team get and how much money the runner-up team Pakistan got, you know this. 

Even though this tournament was played in the UAE, it was hosted by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.Even the team which was not considered as a contender for the title before the tournament, but in reality this team won the title.The country’s team did the work of bringing happiness to Sri Lanka, which is battling political and economic instability.Apart from this, the team also got a hefty reward. 

In fact, the Sri Lankan team got around Rs 1 crore 20 lakh after becoming the winner of the Asia Cup 2022.Sri Lankan team captain Dasun Shanaka was handed over a check of $1.5 lakh by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.At the same time, the team that lost the title match i.e. Pakistan got about 60 lakh rupees (75 thousand dollars) as prize money from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

Money has rained down not only on the team, but also on the players who have done wonders throughout the tournament and in the finals.Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, who won the Player of the Tournament award, received a check of about 12 lakh rupees ($15 thousand).Apart from this, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, who was the player of the match in the final, got about 4 lakh rupees (5 thousand dollars) as a reward.
